Planting Seeds, Trusting God

Safety Precautions at The Barn

We desire to provide a place where kids can come and hang out with their friends and ultimately learn about the best friend, Jesus. This is how we plan to safely re-open, beginning September 11:
  • All surfaces will be sanitized regularly.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the facility for students to use.
  • As long as the mandate for masks in State of Ohio is in place, we ask that face masks be worn whenever social distancing is not possible. Masks will be provided for anyone who needs one.
  • Weather permitting, we will keep the majority of activities outside.
If you have any hesitations and do not feel comfortable with the precautions we are taking, or if your student is experiencing any COVID 19 symptoms, please do not send them to The Barn. We appreciate your patience with us as we navigate this new territory.

The Barn is a place youth can call their own. A place they can go to be with friends, to relax, and just be themselves. Friday and Saturday nights we are open for kids to come and hang out with their friends and possibly make some new ones. There are many activities: basketball, skate park, softball field, sand volleyball, soccer, pool tables, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, guitar playing, and just sitting around the bon-fire. There is a cafe with a variety of drink and food items and places to play cards and games.

Through caring and positive chaperones, the youth will find someone they can talk with and who will take the time to listen. Our desire is to let each youth who walks through The Barn's doors know they are special, that we care about them, and most importantly that Jesus cares about them. We do not charge admission and The Barn is supported solely by donations.
