The Barn Youth Ministry
Statement of Faith
The following beliefs form the message that is communicated to the youth through the Barn Ministry:
Every person is important and loved by God no matter what they look like, what they have done, or what they are now doing (John 3:16; I John 4:19; Romans 8:37-39).
Everyone has Sin in their lives. The penalty for Sin is death (eternal separation from God) in a place of torment call hell (Romans 3:23; Romans 6P:23; Isaiah 59:2; I John 1:8-9; Revelations 20:11-15)
But God loves us so much that He provided a way to save us from hell. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross, in our place, for our Sins. Since Jesus was both God and man in one Person, He was able to pay the penalty for our Sins and arise from the dead (Romans 5:8; John 1: 1-14 & 10:22-38; Corinthians 15:1-4; II Corinthians 5:15,21).
Every person can be forgiven of his/her Sins and spend eternity in Heaven by trusting Jesus Christ alone for salvation (John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:1-10).
Every person who trusts Jesus Christ alone to save them becomes a child of God at that moment. In order to grow in pour relationship with Jesus, we must read the Bible - God’s inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word; pray; attend a Bible-believing and Bible-teaching church; and tell others about Jesus (John 1:12; I Peter 2:2; Philippians 4: 6-7; Hebrews 10:25; Matthew 28:19-20).
