One thing I know about college is that it will stretch you and mold you. It's a place where you will make some of your best friends for life. It was an experience I will never forget and I appreciate to this day. I have a friend who served on the Cedarville University Team as the team leader at The Barn, who gave me the following letter while I was in college spending my days and nights studying. This letter is written to me from God's perspective. "No matter what you do, where you go, what you say, how you feel, Even though the letter is addressed to me, we all can begin it with our own name. I ask you to do just that, insert your own name as you begin to read this letter. "Eric, you are my child and I love you so much that I would have came and died, if only for you (John 3:16). I know right now things may seem stressful or overwhelming. You may not think you know what to do...but I have an ultimate plan (Jeremiah 29:11). A plan I have had for you since before you were ever born. A plan to use you and your talents, abilities, strengths, weaknesses for My glory and to build up My kingdom. Roll your plans to Me and let Me worry about them. I will use them to accomplish My purpose here on this earth. You do not have to understand the plan, but just trust Me, rely on Me, and know that I will always keep my promises (Proverbs 16:3; Jeremiah 10:23; Psalm 37:5).
